Auditions are by appointment only. Sign up for an audition time slot here.
Audition Requirements:
Vocalization to determine vocal range
Sing “God Bless America” a cappella
Repeat short tonal patterns which assess tonal memory
Sight read a short exercise
Expectations
Singers who audition and are accepted into the Chorus are expected to pay dues or make payment arrangements with the Business Manager prior to receiving music and attending the first rehearsal. Chorus dues are $75 for the fall season - mid-August through early December. Chorus dues are $75 for the spring season - January through early May. Chorus dues for active and retired music educators are $37.50 per season.

First Fall rehearsal - August 17, 2026
We rehearse at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Nassau Bay (18220 Upper Bay Rd. Houston, TX 77058) from 7-9 p.m. every Monday, unless otherwise notified.
